It’s been a lovely summer with great weather and lots of planting in our gardens. We started with seedlings indoors then brought them out to enjoy the gardens we’ve created over the last several years. Blooming dahlias, cosmos, coneflowers, strawflowers, dayllies, sunflowers, lavender blossoms, herbs of many varieties, all make their way into my small glass jars for gifts once dried.

Paintings this year have been incorporating these garden influences. Ongoing vistas of views here in Northern Colorado are also gracing my studio, giving life to the colors of our land in abstractions and gestures and color!
